Krčnik Canyons
Krčnik is one of the most beautiful natural bridges in Slovenia and a true gem of untouched nature. The gorge with a rushing stream offers a refreshing escape all year round. A pleasant walking path, suitable for families, leads to the natural bridge. The area delights nature lovers, photographers, and peace seekers.
Around 40-meter-wide basins begin with a massive boulder, a 6-meter-deep rounded depression in the streambed, where water carries stones and sand. The water current spins and constantly shapes it.
Gonjače Viewpoint Tower
The Gonjače Viewpoint Tower is 23 meters tall and accessible via 144 stairs. From its top, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of Goriška Brda, the Julian Alps, the Dolomites, and on clear days, the Adriatic Sea. The tower is a popular stop for both hikers and photographers. Visiting offers a perfect introduction or conclusion to your exploration of Brda.


Hill Sabotin
Sabotin is a viewpoint hill above the Soča River, known for its natural beauty and rich history from the time of the First World War. Numerous trenches, caves, and remnants of the battlefield are preserved on the top and slopes, forming the Open-Air Museum today. From Sabotin, you get a stunning view of Nova Gorica, Gorizia, and the surrounding hills.
Šmartno
Šmartno is a picturesque medieval village surrounded by well-preserved walls and defensive towers. Narrow stone streets, small squares, and views of the Brda hills create a unique historical atmosphere. The village is a popular destination for walks, wine tastings, and cultural events.


Cividale
Cividale is a historic town in Italy, right on the Slovenian border, rich in Lombard heritage. The famous Hudičev Bridge over the Nadiža River, the old town center, and charming streets invite exploration. The city is also known for its excellent cuisine and is a popular day-trip destination from Brda.

Caves of Kras
Kras caves are one of the most significant natural attractions of the Kras region. Their special features include stalactites, stalagmites, and dripstones, which create stunning natural formations and underground chambers.
